La Taillade, naturist area in Auvergne under the snow!

First snowflakes on the Domaine de la Taillade ! Yesterday 15 cm of snow decorated our Truyère valley.

The campsite and the cottages were asleep, motionless under a black and white filter.

It is true that the appearance of snow is becoming rarer and rarer with climate change and it will only make a brief visit, especially at La Taillade. It will stay longer on the lead of the Cantal or the Aubrac plateau.

 

Already looking forward to meeting you (or meeting you!) next summer, the whole team at La Taillade wishes you a happy end of the year.

Autumn at la Taillade, naturist campsite in Auvergne!

We took the last yurt apart and put it back together. The horses are ready for their transhumance to the Cantal highlands. The valley of the Truyère is now stained red.

 

This is how the Domaine de la Taillade slowly enters the autumn. The colours of our valley are particularly flamboyant this year. The beeches are turning red, the acorn-laden oaks are still tenaciously green, while the wild cherry trees stand out with their red streaks dotting the valley.

Far from the summer animation, la Taillade also reveals its charms in autumn by staying in the comfortable chalets. It is the occasion to come and listen to the deer's roar at dusk and early in the morning. You will undoubtedly have the chance to meet herds of hind and deer by taking our hiking trails.

Thus we are already preparing for the 2021 season, with the construction of an extension to our small restaurant. The creation of a warm space by the fireplace will be ideal to share a moment of conviviality.

Sun, Nature and Conviviality at La Taillade !

Since last week, at La Taillade, we've gotten to the heart of the matter! It is under the sun, which promises to last, that the 2020 season is launched.

With 100% occupancy of our new comfort chalets, we have already set up our activity program for the week:

  • Monday: kayak trip on the lake of Lanau
  • Tuesday: making bread with Odette
  • wednesday: GRILLADE evening!
  • Thursday: visit of the farm
  • friday: aquatic hike

Naturism in Auvergne is, in this period, a sure value: wide open spaces, preserved nature, sense of welcome and friendliness! Let yourself be tempted by a naturist stay at La Taillade, a stone's throw from the Cantal mountains, the Aubrac plateau and in the heart of the Truyère gorges.

Installation of the first yurt

It is under the first rays of an already summery sun, that we set up the first yurt of the campsite. Installed on a terrace on stilts, the "bottom yurt" offers a breathtaking view of the Truyère valley.

 

It's the perfect place to relax and recharge. Equipped for four people, it allows you to immerse yourself in an ocean of greenery.

This traditional habitat will satisfy the fans of camping in tents. But it will also seduce those looking for a little more comfort. This is the opportunity to travel light as you will find everything you need to live your stay in complete independence: kitchen, crockery, beds, garden furniture ... .

We look forward to future government announcements. Hopefully we will be able to welcome you soon at Domaine de la Taillade. Rest assured that we will do our utmost to guarantee your safety but also to offer you an unforgettable holiday.

In the coming weeks important decisions should be made regarding the date and conditions of opening of the campsites, we will not fail to keep you informed.
