Wát een camping! Dwars tegen de trends van deze sereld in gewoon het naturisme hooghouden! Eenvoud, eerlijkheid, gelijkheid, gezelligheid, geen gedoe. Wat een omgeving, wat een ambiance! We wilden een weekje blijven maar zijn bij bijna drie week gebleven en komen zker terug!

I stopped at the La Taillade campsite for a short break, too short unfortunately, on my way south. As soon as I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and enchanted by the place. I think the warm welcome, the relaxed atmosphere of the campsite and the beautiful landscape are the reasons for this. To be able to wake up in the morning with an impressive view of the valley while letting the first rays of the sun warm you up is really magical. Anyone who is looking for a quiet place in contact with the wilderness will be delighted by this place.

After a few days spent in the summer of 2017 in this campsite, we spent 2 days this year on August 15 back from the South, and found the magical atmosphere of this incomparable place. What's unique about this place?

-The situation: in this campsite at the end of the world, which you have to go and find at the end of a small road and a small path - but it is very good this way - you feel in the middle of nature. The pitches are large. Nothing to do with the edges of the Mediterranean!

-The view: from the pitches along the lower path, which are our favorites, there is a magnificent view of the Truyère river below, the hills in front, and a breathtaking view of the forests. And at night, the darkness allows you to see a starry sky of the quality of the one you see in the mountains or in the Sahara. You can spend hours just looking.

-The climate: at an altitude of 1000 meters, we breathe well and sleep well, especially during the hot days of this summer.

-The swimming pool: a fresh, invigorating water to invigorate yourself after a bike ride in the country.

-The surroundings are wild as you can see by following the small roads in green on the Michelin map. For example towards Aubrac St Remy de Chaudes Aigues, Requistat; towards the Truyère, Ste Marie, le Pont de Treboul, Pierrefort

-The atmosphere: the Tuesday evening barbecue is very convivial, with pork ribs, summer vegetables, to the sound of Fritz's bilingual guitar.

-The walks from the campsite, to the river, the forest. A naturist walk of more than two hours is not available everywhere

Thanks to Christophe and his team, what a great idea to have created this campsite in this place. Nature lovers, this is the place to stop for one, two, several days or weeks

Far from the heat wave, we discovered a domain that has a soul, which is not often found.

Of course the water in the pool is a bit cool, but you don't have to come to Auvergne to find the water of the Caribbean Sea.

Preparing an aligot and breadwith Odette is an experience not to be missed. The welcome of Camille, Christophe and Rachel completes the general feeling of well-being and conviviality.

For our next stay, we will prefer one of the new cottages, question of comfort for a lumbago sufferer on the one hand and wearing a knee prosthesis on the other hand.

Thank you all for these rare moments in a nature that deserves to be discovered and preserved.

We spent a week at the end of June in this campsite where time stops for a moment. What beautiful memories in this wild and bewitching nature. We loved the welcome, the sites and the fabulous landscapes. We were in a cabin. Even if the comfort is rather basic, our vacations were very successful. We will come back here because there are many things to discover, especially if new chalets appear, like the last ones built, with a great comfort.
