We came after having seen photos of the site, for a stay from August 13 to 20. The spectacle of the Truyère gorges is unforgettable. The site of Taillade is vertiginous, suspended at 180 m above the river. Add to this balanced scenery the horses and cows of the free-range farm, the sound of the river and the other powerful sounds of nature in the evening at nightfall...

The place is very quiet. Total disconnection and contemplation from sunrise to sunset.

The cabin accommodation is in keeping with the spirit of the place. It includes the essentials: good bedding, water and electricity. It is located 5 minutes walk from the campsite by a spectacular stony path.

The most of the stay: the descent on foot towards the river. A vertiginous and panoramic course brings you in a deep valley of the beginning of the world worthy of the decorations of Jurassic Park.

The path is initiatory, it connects you to your being. Living.

For pure idleness: a small swimming pool in the heart of the campsite. Simple, like the rest, well oriented to the south, sheltered from the wind, with an incredible view on the landscape. The water is not heated. The relaxation is tonic.

Our stay was very successful. We would have liked to extend our stay but it was not possible. Another time!

another way to spend a stay, we rented a chalet from August 6 to 13 and what a surprise to wake up in the morning to find ourselves facing such a panorama, being adept at walking, what a treat on the hikes, the Aubrac, the Plomb, the Puy Mary, the gorges of the truyére, the Lloran !!!! grandiose and of a fantastic beauty . Moreover the meeting with the donkeys and the cows as well as the foals!!!!! unforgettable. Unquestionably a different formula but so pleasant. NO REGRET, it was great.

This year we made our second stay at La Taillade. We like the place (fabulous view !), the very relaxed atmosphere of the campsite, the nice animations (ex, the barbecue evening) and this year we even had the chance to have an initiation to Tai-Chi by a resident. Very important too, the possible hikes from the campsite (in naturist mode -or not- on vast expanses), the small panoramic restaurant, etc... In short, everything you need to spend a relaxing stay....all at a very low price. Very good contact with the people of the campsite...what more can I say? I recommend ++ this little corner of paradise!

Simplicity reigns here and everything is done with a friendly and very pleasant spirit.

Yesterday we participated in your organized meal, which offers to those who wish to eatexcellent ribs with the addition of wood and a quantity of meat at will. Cheese and dessert for a completely ridiculous price. This was accompanied by improvised musicians who made this moment a real moment of conviviality and exchange between the campers.

This involves the work of the entire team. Thank you for your dedication.

No fuss here, simplicity is enough and that's what we expect from your campsite.

It is the perfect place for nature lovers. The view is impressive, the activities are great, the restaurant is very good.

Christophe is full of humor and respectful of animals. His cows and horses are free to roam in his farm a little higher up.
